Sydney wedding photographer

for couples who want timeless photos and a fuss-free experience

A wedding is everyone you love in one place

It's the one day you'll ever get all of the people you love in the same room, and it goes faster than you think.

Ask anyone a year on what they remember of their wedding and most will say it's a blur. Mine is too, and I really tried to take it in.
Not because the day didn't matter, because there was so much of it, and you're in the middle of it.
Almost everything you're paying for gets used up by the end of the night. The flowers, the food, the music, the room.

The photographs are what's still here years after the wedding. The proof of all these people, together.

So that's what I photograph. You marrying your best friend. Your mum wiping away a tear during your vows. The friends cracking up at the speeches. The kids stealing the spotlight on the dance floor.

I'd like you to be able to hand these to someone in twenty years and say: that was the whole lot of us.

Does this sound like you?

You want photos that feel like the day, without the photos taking the day away from you.

1

Neither of you especially loves being photographed, and you're hoping that part can be painless.

2

You want someone who's done this enough to know what's coming next, and to have already thought about the parts you haven't.

3

There are a few photos you really care about. A photo with your favourite aunt, the group shot with the friends who flew in, the two of you at dusk, and you want to know they'll happen.

4

You've worked out roughly what photography is worth to you, and you'd rather get it right once.

5

If that's you, we'll get on.

What my couples have said

“The absolute best wedding photographer! Nettie was easy-going, considerate, flexible and creative :) Her photos were excellently polished and she has the ability to capture the best candids!”

— Brianna & Katelyn

“We were so glad we found Anetta! She made the process so easy and fun. She went above and beyond to get familiar with our location and to help us feel extremely comfortable for our shoot including a practice one! She is so wonderful that my brother also booked her for his wedding and we are desperate to have her capture our first moments as parents with a newborn shoot in the future!.”

— Grace & Georgia

“From the minute we called her, we were so pleased with how easy it was working with Anetta. She made the process so simple and really listened to what we wanted. Anetta was perfect on the day, she got the best shots without you even realising she was there! She was patient with family and worked around last minute changes due to the rain effortlessly. We are in LOVE with her pictures. They are even better than we could have asked for.”

— Kate & James

For Lovers Ready To Celebrate

Hey, I’m Anetta

I picked up a camera in NYC about a decade ago. I've been photographing weddings in Sydney since 2021, and I still get a bit nervous the morning of every single one, which I've decided is a good sign.

I'm a one-person operation. I read and reply to your emails, chat to you on the phone, photograph your day, edit every frame, then hand you the gallery at the end. Nothing gets passed along, because I don't want to miss any of it.

Somebody letting you into a day like this is a strange and lovely thing to be handed. I've never quite got over it. And the part I care most about hasn't changed over the years: asking what you actually want. Every couple has a few photographs they're quietly hoping for. Tell me what yours are, and I'll make sure we get them.

Tell me about your day

I'd love to hear what you're planning! Tell me where it is, who's coming, what you're hoping the photos will feel like. Even if you're still deciding on a venue, send it through.

Full day coverage starts at $3,900 for 8 hours. Most couples land between $2000 and $6000 once they've worked out how much of the day they want covered.

I take 30 weddings a year, so dates go a fair way ahead. If yours is taken I'll tell you straight away rather than leave you waiting.
