It's always an honour to follow my couples' journeys, and being a part of Kimberley and Monica's story has been especially meaningful. I first photographed them during their engagement, then had the privilege of capturing their wedding, where I was one of the few who knew about their exciting pregnancy news. Coincidentally, I was pregnant at the time too, with our due dates only a few weeks apart.

While there was uncertainty about whether I'd be able to photograph their maternity and newborn sessions, given my own impending birth, their dear friend insisted on booking me for the photoshoots as a gift. She felt it was only fitting that I continue to document their beautiful story.

Thankfully, everything aligned perfectly. We were able to capture some lovely maternity photos near their home in Leichhardt, and a few weeks later, I had the joy of photographing their newborn son, Leo. It was a wonderful experience to see their family grow and to be there for every special moment.
